BarkBox: Our Thoughts

BarkBox is another one of those companies that blew up due to social media. When Odin came into our life, we knew we wanted to try it out. So, what do we like and what do we not like about it?

What we like:

• We really love the fact that it is a subscription box for the sole reason that we completely forget it comes in the mail on the same day every month and it becomes a little surprise, too.

• The boxes are themed -- and Bark Box has a really fun sense of humor. Like this "Bite Light" Cooler of Beer Plush Toys and this "F-Bomb" plush toy. Always has us laughing as the dogs are playing.

• We NEVER have shortage of toys. So, when a toy breaks or gets "de-fluffed", we can throw it away without worry because there are more coming in the mail every month.

• We also NEVER have a shortage of treats and cookies for the doggos because we get two new ones sent to us in our box!

• Their customer service is PHENOMENAL! Since one of our dogs has a chicken allergy (Classic GSD), when one of our boxes had chicken-based treats in it, they replaced them without question. Additionally, we they make sure that we are only given chicken-free treats. When we moved addresses and did not change the address in time, BarkBox was kind enough to send us an entire new box free of charge even though it was our mistake for not changing our address in time.

• When we added on a number of additional items to our box (like when Christmas comes around....because DUH our Good Woofers need to open up presents and stockings too!) we got TWO FREE dog beds. And they are not just any dog beds, they are one of our favorites!

What we don't like:

• We really like to feed our dogs the best food and treats for their bodies. Although BarkBox treats are not terrible, we do wish they used more natural ingredients in their treats.
